Thanks.
I am running 2.6.21 kernel.
However, as I discovered now after Pekka Savola answer,
cat /proc/sys/net/ipv6/conf/eth0/mtu gives the MTU which I set in the
/etc/radvd.conf,
as expected.
So I am not sure that the patch is relevant here.
