Hi,

There have been good work lately that I'd like to merge (I haven't 
added anything to CVS yet) and release a new radvd version 
("radvd-1.7").

There has been parallel work by Reuben Hawkins on serialized radvd 
("radvd-2.0") that I'd also like to see progressing.  The major thing 
that holds me back is that I think it should be regress-tested using 
TAHI tools due to its many changes in the basic principles.  I don't 
have the resources to do that myself though.

It would be preferable to avoid separate code tree maintenance, but 
I'm not sure of the best way to proceed here.

My day job and other responsibilities keep me relatively busy. At the 
moment and for the foreseeable future, I can't do much more than basic 
patch integration, janitorial tasks and minor testing myself. 
Therefore I could also give over radvd maintainership to someone if 
(s)he wanted it, or add a co-maintainer who would be more actively 
working on the project. Reuben has been working on radvd for some time 
and would be a good candidate if he wanted to do it.
