Hi,

so am I right to say that all clients will listen to ff02::1 regardless of whether their own IPv6 address is link-local/global? If so, could you guide me on how I can change them to listen to ff0e::1 on the clients? I'm still pretty new to the Linux environment =)

Regards,
KiaN

> Date: Wed, 9 Jan 2008 22:22:34 -0600
> From: admiralnemo@pyrocufflink.net
> To: radvd-devel-l@litech.org
> Subject: Re: [radvd-devel-l] radvd multicast address
>
> You shouldn't have to modify the multicast address for sending RAs.
> ff02::1 is defined in the RFC as the group for receiving IPv6 RAs, so
> that is where client's listen for them.
