Spook currently doesn't do a very good job of trying to find a palette 
compatible with the capture device.  In fact, it just tries one, then it 
dies.  I'll be adding better palette code in a few weeks after I finish 
moving.

Also, I suspect your webcam does not deliver frames at a consistent rate,
which will really hose up most video clients.  You might consider
upgrading to a newer cam anyway...  -Nathan
