I just released a new version of Spook that finally fixes the
incompatibility with BTTV devices and kernel 2.6. After fruitlessly
attempting to get the V4L1 compatibility layer in 2.6 working, I broke
down and just implemented a V4L2 module. It supports all the same options
as the V4L module, except for the PWC-specific extensions which aren't
necessary anyway since the PWC driver is V4L1-only. Give it a try and let
me know if it works for you.

Over the next few days I will be checking some major changes into CVS that
reorganize the internal structure of Spook's RTSP implementation. This
will immediately enable some features that people have been asking for,
such as support for multiple streams in the same Spook process, and pave
the way for new features like audio streaming, session relaying, and even
file streaming. (Actually, I have streaming modules for MP3 and AVI files
already working, so they shouldn't be too far behind.)

Also, if anybody has any public video feeds using Spook, please share them
here... -Nathan
