I've enjoyed spook with my logitech webcam and now I'm trying to get it
to work with my canon minidv camera. I can view the camera output using
Kino, but when I try it with spook with this setting:

Input DC1394 {
         Output "raw";
}

I get this:

Oct 28 13:15:01 spook[17633]: listening on control socket spook.sock
Oct 28 13:15:01 spook[17633]: listening on tcp port 7070
Oct 28 13:15:01 spook[17633]: dc1394: found 0 cams on port 0
Oct 28 13:15:01 spook[17633]: dc1394: did not find any IIDC cameras
Oct 28 13:15:01 spook[17633]: dc1394: unable to initialize video input

I have permissions on /dev/raw1394 and /dev/dv1394/0 shows up. Any idea
why this isn't working?

Randall
