That's part of the reason for asking the list.  :-)  DSS is supposedly 
open source, or at least Apple's version of open source.  I'm told by a 
couple of people that DSS is relatively easy to build and install, but I 
have yet to try this myself.

At any rate, DSS is not only capable of acting as a relay, but it has nice 
features that Spook doesn't yet have like authentication.  If people 
generally have nice things to say about it, I'll probably use DSS as the 
basis for Spook's relaying support, at least initially.  It's probably the 
best bet to get relaying available before the new year, anyway.  -Nathan
